PAIN KILLERS AND HEART ATTACK
The european medical journal Lancet in June 2013 found high doses of some of the most common painkillers, including ibuprofen and diclofenac, can increase the risk of heart problems by 30%. Of all the NSAIDs analyzed, "Naproxen" (OTC Aleve) didn't appear to increase major vascular events or vascular deaths.
Guys there are much better ways of reducing your inflammation. Start with ice 20 minutes every 2 hours for a new injury. Consume a high quality fish oil to get the powerfully anti-inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids. You want 3g or 3000mg/day of the omega 3's IN the fish oil. This has been shown to be 1000x more anti-inflammatory than ibuprofen. Its good for your brain, nerves, eyes, and heart. Even if you are not hurting consuming these omega 3's is something you should incorporate into your daily routine.
