Good morning everyone!

Last month the Journal of Cognitive, Affective and Behaior Neuroscience reported when individuals are forbidden from everyday objects, their minds and brains pay more attention to them. Obsession is not as strong if others are also denied. When an object is forbidden to a group, the allure of the object drops dramatically. This helps to explain why group diet programs can be more successful than dieting alone.

Think about this next time you are trying to forge a new habit or drop an old one.  For many of us we need all the help we can get to "teach an old dog new tricks."  This edition of my blog looks at the behavioral side from a neuroscience point of view.  If you have a health issue you are trying to tackle, give WellnessOne a call!  We have many solutions to everyday health issues with multiple providers at your service.
