STRESS AND PROBLEM SOLVING
According to the online medical journal PLOS One from May 2013 people under high levels of chronic stress appear to have impaired problem-solving skills. In a study setting, they solved 50% fewer problems than their non-stressed peers.
Good to know in today's fast paced society. If you are suffering from stress the first thing you need to understand is that there is brain and body physiology which may be at a reduced thresh hold allowing you to experience more stress than you should. Start by reducing your processed and refined foods (particularly refined carbohydrates). Begin to exercise a little every day. Focus on your spiritual relationship with God. And before you look to anti-depressants, consider a consultation with our Acupuncturist Joe Hlebica, L.Ac. Give our office a call for a complimentary acupuncture evaluation (normally a $50.00 value)! Call 243-9464 and our friendly staff will arrange for your visit.
It's your health...be there healthy with WellnessOne! Have a blessed day!
