WALKING VERSUS RUNNING!
Good morning North State! Brisk walking can reduce a person's risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, stress, and high cholesterol just as much as running can. The journal of Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology in April 2013 looked at risk and for first-time hypertension was notably reduced 4.2% by running and 7.2% by walking. The risk for first-time high cholesterol was reduced 4.3% by running and 7% by walking. The risk for first-time diabetes was lowered 12.1% by running and 12.3% by walking. The risk for coronary heart disease was lowered 4.5% by running and 9.3% by walking.
I have so many fit walkers and runners in the office, I thought you guys would like to know this incredible revelation! Just remember any long term aerobic exercise MUST be couple with consumption of a multivitamin such as the one from Metagenics we carry here in the office. Without it your risk of cancer goes up due to free radical formation from the process of metabolism. Check out our online store (linked at our website) and take advantage of our 25% off this month! Have a blessed day!
