EXERCISE FOR KIDS!
The British Journal of Sports Medicine in March 2013 found some interesting news for parents who truly want the best for their kids development! Short bouts of moderately intense exercise seem to boost self-control, possibly due to increased blood and oxygen flow to pre-frontal area of brain. This is particularly important for children and teens, because well-developed higher brain functions are important for academic achievement.
So if you are doing everything you can to increase your child's motivation, academics, etc., pursuant to this study you should get them to do some brief sprinting and explosive exercise as a tool to aid in their body "physically" meeting the challenge!
