Good morning and happy February!
Did you know babies fed only breast milk up to the age of six months have a lower risk of developing asthma-related symptoms in early childhood. According to the European Respiratory Journal of July 2011, they found that compared to children who were breastfed for 6 months or more, children who had never received breast milk had an increased risk of wheezing, shortness of breath, dry cough and persistent phlegm in their first 4 years!? When my kids were born we decided that we would try to breast feed at least a year and no longer than 2 years. This may seem a bit strange in our culture but here in America, we are the only country the cuts this maternal birthright off so soon. Breast milk is superior to formula in every single way (other than convenience). Your kids health depends on it so keep them well fed the way God intended!
Have a blessed day!
