Morning folks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Its that time for new year's resolutions.  What is yours going to be this year.  Is this the year to lose that spare tire (I know it is for me)? create better relationships?  get your financial house in order?  What ever it is you need to WRITE DOWN those goals now and review them every day.  Take them in small workable chunks and have a plan of action.  Without it you are likely doomed to failure.  Success requires planning...failure to do so is just asking for failure.

Back to our topic on life expectancy.  According to PLOS Medicine online journal in November 2012, low amounts of physical activity (75 minutes of brisk walking per week) increased longevity by 1.8 years after age 40, compared with doing no such activity. Walking briskly for at least 450 minutes a week was associated with a gain of 4.5 years!
