Did you know America's health care system is inefficient, suffers from data overload, and is both complex and costly? Each year, $750 billion (roughly $.35 per dollar spent) is wasted nationwide on inflated administration costs, fraud, and pointless services. These problems can also result in needless patient suffering and deaths.
In reality our so-called "health" care system is really a sick care model. Instead of investing so heavily in medications and treatments we should focus research dollars on how to stay healthy from the start! Imagine if everyone took control of their own health and actively participated in working on it. Our medications, physicians, hospitals, etc would certainly lose their luster and be used less and less. Isn't that the point? Or is it...follow the money and see where those priorities lay both in the medical community but also the Government.
Have a blessed day.
