Good Morning!

Many parents have been asking about so-called "mandatory vaccinations" before enrolling your kids in school.  It should be known that California law allows for exemptions should you choose NOT to vaccinate your children.  Many threats have been circulated around the country and around Redding about no school without your shots.  Totally untrue.  Whatever you feel about vaccines, its important that we maintain freedom of choice in the United States.  Government should never come between parent's authority for making legitimate choices for their children.  This of course is one of the liberties that makes America great!

You will find some folks will make the argument that unvaccinated kids endanger the other kids despite no evidence to support this.  Much has been written to the contrary but what you should know is if the vaccines work so well to protect a child that what does it matter to you whether or not mine is vaccinated?   I am not stating that you should or should not vaccinate your child.  That is a personal decision that you need to educate your self and ultimately choose what path you would like to choose.  If you would like information, our office as well as a plethora of websites are at your disposal.  Two of my favies are nvic.org and cdc.gov.  Those are the 2 main sites displaying both sides of the debate (that most folks don't even know is going on).  Information about our State's laws can be found here in detail: http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements/california.aspx

Have a blessed day guys!
