Morning folks!

Being cut off from work email significantly reduces stress and improves focus. This information found by UC Irvine as well as the US Army in a joint study done in May 2012 found when heart rate monitors were attached to computer users in an office setting, while software sensors detected how often they switched windows. People who read email changed screens twice as often and were in a steady "high alert" state. Those removed from email for five days reported feeling better able to do their jobs and stay on task, with fewer stressful and time-wasting interruptions.

A lot of these gadgets we use to help us keep up with our fast paced world do nothing to help promote our sense of well-being or reduce our stress.  What typically happens is it just increases your capacity to do more stuff...which unfortunately for most out there is not relaxing stuff!  Be sure to use proper time management and pencil time in with your family and friends.  'Cause when you really think about it...health and relationships are all that really matter.

Have a blessed day!
